<game_review1>Perhaps one of the most eagerly awaited games next to Elite 4, Half-Life 2 sees you resume the role of Gordon Freeman.</game_review1>
<game_review2>Picking up your trusty crowbar you are faced with a post-apocalyptic world with intelligent enemies, stunning graphics and a highly interactive environment. Awesome.</game_review2>

<game_rank5>http://www.sjskyline.com/images/dot.gif</game_rank5>
<game_review1>Zuma is a great little desktop game for whiling away the hours at work. Surprisingly difficult and frustrating, the object is to simply shoot your ball to create groups of 3 or more.</game_review1>
<game_review2>The downloadable version is far superior to the free web-based game with additional maps and power-ups.</game_review2>

<game_review1>Need For Speed Underground - EA Games venture into the realm of street racing. Great fun, no car damage and unrealistic mod prices make a very fun game.</game_review1>
<game_review2>There is a fairly good storyline which sees you carrying out various types of street race for cash and kudos and some nicely modelled cars.</game_review2>

<game_rank5>http://www.sjskyline.com/images/dot.gif</game_rank5>
<game_review1>Rockstar games go too far with this one. Your character placed in the middle of a "snuff-movie" set and the only way out is through a sea of blood.</game_review1>
<game_review2>The story was poor and predictable, Rockstar have tried to compensate for this with horrific levels of gore.</game_review2>

<game_rank5>http://www.sjskyline.com/images/dot.gif</game_rank5>
<game_review1>The latest installment in the UFO/XCOM saga brings back much of the tension from the original game and mixes it some beautiful animation.</game_review1>
<game_review2>The downside is yet again this game becomes so repetitive that you feel like giving up.</game_review2>

<game_rank5>http://www.sjskyline.com/images/dot.gif</game_rank5>
<game_review1>Rockstar games' parody of the American dream or just bad taste? you decide. From a gameplay perspective Vice City starts where GTA3 left off and provides some nice extra features.</game_review1>
<game_review2>Hours of fun not even bothering to follow the story, just belting around the game following sub-plots and shooting people - class.</game_review2>

<game_review1>Following on from the success of Gran Turismo 1 and 2, GT3 makes the platform transition from Playstation 1 to Playststion 2 in style.</game_review1>
<game_review2>On first glance the most noticable gameplay difference between 2 and 3 is the absence of 2nd hand cars. This is more than compensated for by the sumptuous graphics. Roll on GT4!</game_review2>

<game_review1>Build railways, trade shares, make money and meet your objectives. Sounds simple? It isn't.</game_review1>
<game_review2>I found this strategy game completely immersing. A limited 3D engine but with excellent gamelay led to a very enjoyable game.</game_review2>

<game_rank5>http://www.sjskyline.com/images/dot.gif</game_rank5>
<game_review1>Counter Strike is a widely played mod for the game Half Life. It places the game in a modern setting pitching a team of terrorists against a team of counter terrorists.</game_review1>
<game_review2>With a fast 3d engine and a game that balances speed, skill, tactics and gameplay Counter Strike makes a very enjoyable first-person shooter.</game_review2>

<game_review1>Real-time strategy again building on from games such as Dune 2, Command & Conquer and Red Alert. This time the engine is applied to the Star Trek universe.</game_review1>
<game_review2>You have an isometric view of the game area and take control of Federation, Klingon, Romulan and Borg ships and bases.</game_review2>

<game_rank5>http://www.sjskyline.com/images/dot.gif</game_rank5>
<game_review1>Mechcommander was the first online game I played. Based on the Battletech world created by FASA you took an isometric view of the battlefield, controlling up to 12 mechs.</game_review1>
<game_review2>In multiplayer mode the teams were limited to 3 people per side with a variety of objectives such as capture the flag. This game had a far greater strategic bias than the more popular mechwarrior games.</game_review2>
